Hurricane Sandy update October 30, 2012: 4:00 p.m.

Delta continues to monitor the situation at New York City-area airports, including working closely with the Port Authority and other stakeholders to resume operations as soon as safely possible.

Delta will resume limited flying to LaGuardia and Newark Liberty Wednesday evening for a Thursday morning restart. At John F. Kennedy International, Delta expects to resume limited domestic flying Wednesday afternoon. Flying has resumed at other U.S. East Coast airports.

Delta system cancellations due to Hurricane Sandy total approximately 3,000 from Sunday night through Wednesday. Customers continue to have the ability to move their travel and should monitor delta.com for the latest information.

The next update will be issued at 10:00 a.m. EDT on October 31.
