I VOTE YES! I have, for a long time, been a huge fan of Chris Elliott. He is the little guy & travelers’ friend. He calls out even our dear Delta when they do really dumb things (hey, I do that too ya know). He has a great team of folks that help him reach out to companies to get resolution when things go wrong and shame the companies when they don’t do “what’s right”! Sure he does not really appreciate points, but no one is perfect. 🙂

Bottom line is he has a post up about should he join BA. I think it would be great and having a voice that gives BoardingArea a balance to the points side of travel would only make TEAM BA that much better. I hope you will take the time to click, read & vote YES for him to come on board (he will be in coach but he seems AOK with that). 😉

I got home yesterday, a day late, from my EPIC 40,000+ miles of travel for September – PHEW! I was affected by the ATC fire issue and Delta has extended the FREE waiver through the 29th, that is tomorrow, so you may want to check your plans if you are in/out of the Midwest.

The Air France pilots issue continues to cause havoc and if you have a flight through the 30th Delta has that FREE waiver in place as well and I would REALLY suggest you look at changing over to Delta metal for your flights.

Have a great weekend everyone and gosh is it nice to be back home after a grueling month of travel – René

ps had a strange trip denver to atl on friday(fire day in chicago)on an md-88 full when ready to leave gate- pilot came on to say Too much weight and not sure what was going to be allowed to happen..40 minutes later atc decided to open a new -closed runway(pilot said the largest in the us but ???nasa and houston for space shuttle) anyway we finally got to go and it was a very LONG takeoff but we got airborne.. usually if this happens they just take people and luggage off the plane???
