American Express will host “a nostalgic weekend of cinema at the exclusive American Express Platinum Drive-In” this weekend in Far Hills, New Jersey. (About 45 miles southwest of Manhattan).
The screenings — which are open to all American Express cardholders — take place at Moorland Farm in Far Hills.
The series coincides with the Shop Small promotion, which Amex is currently running. Several local small businesses will be on hand to give complimentary sparkling water, popcorn, and cornbread madeleines to attendees.
Tickets are $25 per car, which may include up to four people. (Amex says ticket proceeds will be donated to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation.)
Gates open each night at 7:30 PM and showtimes are at 8:15 PM. To see what’s playing which night, check out the event’s webpage.
A rep told me Amex currently doesn’t have plans to extend the Platinum Drive-In to other locations in the United States. (But I’ll keep my fingers crossed, just in case 😉 ).
