There are a couple of good places to track DL8777:
One More Trip This Evening
N701DN has more flight after she operates DL8777.
The bird will head to its new home at the Southern California Logistics Airport (known to most of us simply as “Victorville”).
That flight is scheduled as DL9977. Wheels up from LAX is slated for 5:40 PM. It should land at VCV around 6:15.
If you live in the Los Angeles area, you might get a glimpse of the plane as she leaves on her final voyage. N703DN — which operated DL8777 from ATL to LAX yesterday — flew this route as DL9978 last night to VCV.
If that route holds up for DL9977, the western San Fernando Valley — which is treated to daily flyovers from heavy planes departing LAX — should be able to see her just before sunset.
Farewell, Delta 777s.
